This one man show was developed on Collective Mondays. Mike would ride his motorcycle to whatever location we were at that Monday, come in and tell one True story at a time. Collective Mondays provided a safe haven Workshop away from the comedy clubs where he could tell his stories where he thought “He didn’t have to be funny”. The stories were always from Mike’s point of view so Through the tears we still laughed- hard. After a year of shaping it in our sessions he began to go to storytelling events. This one man show became the co-headliner event of The Collective Uprising Series.
Mike Passed Away on March 6th, 2011. Those of us who attended those sessions will never forget him.
