Troy forces his peculiar son off the beaten path into a right of passage at a disturbing backwoods enterprise. Inside two lost souls find refuge from their otherwise dark realities.

  • Turtleface is adapted from the Play of the same name performed at The Collective: 10 at the McGinn-Cazale Theater in 2013.

  • Filmed in Oil City, PA. Turtleface was made possible by producer Lisa K. Price winning A Pennsylvania State grant given by Steeltown Entertainment.

  • The original cast from the play appears in the film. Each scene was rehearsed thoroughly on Collective Mondays prior to production. The entire company assisted in production. A large number of company members traveled and stayed on location in Oil City, PA to assist with filming.

  • Turtleface has played in 17 festivals internationally.
